Makeup Look of the Day!!!!

Products used:

Face: Jordana Forever Flawless Pressed Powder, Jordana Blush Powder in Blushing Rose, and Maybelline Trio in Bronze Glitz (lightest color as highlight on cheekbones.

Eyes: Lancome eyeshadows, Positve (matte skintone color), Mochaccino (matte brown), Jordana Sultry Eyes quad, matte black eyeshadow on bottom right hand corner.

Lips: Sephora Ultra Shine Lipgloss in 20.

I drew inspiration from a youtube clip I saw of Sarah Victor. She was recreating a look that was in a Dolce and Gabana look worn on Scarlett Johansson.

NYX Collection

Me and fellow Blogspotter, burnoutdazed.blogspot.com aka Valerie, went to the beauty supply store and checked out the NYX cosmetics they have and I have pics of swatches I took of the Jumbo Pencils:

From left to right, Milk, Black Bean, French Fries, Hot Pink, Lime and Slate.

We just love the colors that NYX cosmetics has. They also have good dupes to MAC colors. I found a dupe for the color Haunting, a repromotion of the color is in their latest collection, the Makeup Art Collection. It originally came out with the Alexander McQueen collection. The color is called Irises, according to the NYX website it is a Matte/Shimmer. It is mostly matte like Haunting but has a few specks of shimmer in it. It actually has more color payoff than its MAC counterpart and it is a lot cheaper. Who says you can't be fabulous on a budget?
